The SigEps are proud to introduce the annual Balanced Man Scholarship. This is scholarship that is for incoming male freshman students that will be attending Lawrence Tech in the fall. Our fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded in 1901 (1971 at Lawrence Tech respectively) on the principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love. Members of our fraternity strive to achieve the Greek principle of the balanced man according to our principals

A balanced man strives to attain a sound mind in a sound body. This type of person is a leader and a gentleman, an athlete and a scholar. Our scholarship has been designed to award this type of person. Applicants to our scholarship are considered some of Lawrence Tech’s finest prospective students. We would love to award you with a small scholarship to our esteemed university.

Though joining SigEp is not necessary for the scholarship, getting to know some of us may be a good idea!  Many freshmen come to Lawrence Tech not knowing anyone. What better way than to make some new friends before school starts with one of the largest organizations on campus! Our sixty-five member organization would love to get to know you, and welcome you to our campus!
